As part of activities marking the 2026 Children’s Day celebration, Charakids Foundation, in collaboration with Carelink Foundation and local healthcare partners, successfully carried out a medical outreach in Emure-Ile, Ondo State, reaching children and families within the community.
The outreach was designed to improve access to basic healthcare services while promoting health awareness among children and their parents. Through the intervention, 100 beneficiaries received free medical consultations, malaria testing, treatment, and health education.
Children diagnosed with malaria and other health conditions were provided with appropriate prescription medications, while those requiring additional nutritional support received vitamins and other necessary treatments. Parents also participated in health sensitization sessions focused on disease prevention, proper healthcare practices, and child wellbeing.

To further support vulnerable households, the outreach team distributed 100 food packages containing essential food items, helping to ease the burden on families while ensuring children could celebrate Children’s Day with dignity and joy.
This outreaches reflects Charakids Foundation’s continued commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of children through sustainable community interventions. We remain grateful to our partners, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community leaders whose support made this impactful initiative possible.
Every child deserves a healthy start, quality care, and the opportunity to thrive. Through collective action, we continue to build stronger and healthier communities, one child at a time.
